BRJ Huntingdon Road Running Club

About BJR

The club was formed in 1988, and has been growing ever since. The current membership is around 100 runners and a number of social and junior members

The club is affiliated to the Amateur Athletics Association and competes each year in the local Frostbite Friendly League. The club has competed in the League since its inception in the winter of 1988/89.

In 2011 the club launched a Triathlon section. At present this is still in it's infancy, so more updates will be made as soon as we can.

What does BRJ stand for?

It is the question that everyone asks us. Club HQ used to be the BRJ Working Mens Club in Huntingdon (now known as Charlie's Angels). B, R and J are the initials of the 3 founding members of that club - Bastini, Rogers and Jaques.
