BRJ Huntingdon Road Running Club

Club Championships and Awards 2009-2010

The Club Championship and Award Scheme was introduced in 2008 with the aim to;

Encourage a "friendly competitive element" with a potential for club members to "race" against each other, in spite of differences in age and gender, and in turn increase their own motivation and performances.

Increase the visibility of the BRJ Club in such races and improve the potential for the BRJ club to achieve Team Awards.

The Annual Club Championship will be decided using the total of an runners best 6 age / gender percentage performance graded scores from eligible road racing distances over a 12 month period commencing on 1st December of each year.

Runners must complete 2 race events in all of the 3 "Distance Bandings" within the 12-month period (i.e. 6 races overall). There is no limit to the number of races a competitor can accrue in each Distance Band. The total of the runner's best 6 events will be used to determine their final championship score.
